Okay... truth time... I really don't get the concept of vintage cards. I even googled "What makes a card vintage?" I really don't completely get it. But I wanted to try anyway. You know how much I love The Friday Mashup blog. This week, their challenge is to create a project with a stick pin on it, or create a vintage project (???), or mash it up and do both. So I don't have any stick pins, I don't get vintage, but I am up to the challenge.
I wanted to use my new Perfectly Preserved set, which I hadn't used yet.
Colors: Chocolate Chip, Natural White, Pink Pirouette, Certainly Celery
Stamps: Perfectly Preserved
Other: Small oval, embossing folder, ribbon (non-SU), distressing tool, stamping dimensionals
So is this vintage? Thanks for looking...

I think you definitely hit it, Lisa, with the dirtying and distressing. I often struggle with vintage and question what it is too. Somehow it always turns out ok. Thanks for giving it a shot and sharing with us at the Friday Mashup.
This definitely qualifies as vintage Lisa! In my view, anything with distressing and some 'dirtying' with ink works - I also think the soft colours you've chosen work really well too. Thanks for playing along with the Friday Mashup this week!
I think that you definitely got it. It looks vintage to me. I agree with Heidi and Amy, the dirtying and distressing go very well with vintage, and the colors you've used too. Thanks for playing along with us at the Friday Mashup this week.
