A Fab Friday Mashup!

Once again, I've used some challenges to inspire a card for a future class!  Yeah!  Love this about challenges!  This week I've combined the Fab Friday blog challenge (this week a color challenge of Baja Breeze, Perfect Plum, and Wild Wasabi) and the Friday Mashup (this week using Markers and texture).

I used my Secret Garden set for the first time, and I know it will not be the last! Love this set!  I used my markers to color in parts of the flowers.  Then I used my blender pen to fully color in those petals.  So cute! Those white squares are popped up.

I've embossed the wasabi layer with the fan.  The plum layer is embossed with the wood grain.  The banner is from Itty Bitty Banners and is also popped up.

Thanks for looking!

Pinwheel For You

This card will also be in a future class.  How great is it?!?  That little pinwheel is so precious!  I won't claim that it's easy to get that brad through all those layers, but it is do-able and so, so cute!

This card will be for a class, and it was inspired by the CAS(E) This Sketch.  As always, they have a sweet sketch for us.

Here, I've used the SAB DSP (I love free!) and the sentiment is in Island Indigo using a former SAB set, Vintage Labels.

Thanks for looking!

It's Bloomin' Marvelous!

Here is one of the cards I created that checks off several boxes today.  I have used one of the SAB sets to show my people how cool this set is, it will be one of the cards in my upcoming SAB class, AND, it uses the Stampin' Royalty color challenge colors (thanks for the inspiration, SR!).

I love using that little strip that comes off the bottom when you punch those scallops in the paper.  I used this scrap inside the card.  It's fun!

Color Inspiration

So I was designing cards for my upcoming class and had been using lots of DSP for the set I was making.  I wanted one without DSP.  I was stuck on which colors to use so I jumped on my favorite challenge blog, The Friday Mashup (please don't tell my other blog challenges I said that, I do really love them all...)

The challenge over there this week was to use Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry, and Daffodil Delight together.  I did not do the second part of the challenge (sorry, ladies!) I did use a bunch of new stuff I got in my last package from Utah!!!!  I got it earlier than I thought I would, which is awesome, but I got it early in the week, and these days my weeks are crazy packed with activities.  I hosted a baby shower on Saturday, ergo, no time to play.  Today, I finally got to break out the new rubber and punches.  So, so, so much fun! Love the new embossing folder, but I knew I would!  I've seen tons of cards using it.  I roughed mine up a bit.

Thanks for looking...

... And the complete set of cards...a TEN card set!

Here are the final 4 cards of the class set!  All made with new Stampin' Up stuff!  I am in love, once again!!!  Some Sale-A-Bration sets, punches, and paper in here as well!  Free stuff... my favorite kind of stuff!

These cards stick with the two-for-one cards.  Two cards following the same basic sketch...

New embossing folder, stamp sets, and paper in these!
New products here, too!

Two more cards following the same sketch.  So many uses!

That brings our set to 10!  The complete super charged class will be a set of 10 cards for $25.00  THIS IS A PRICE CHANGE!  Feel free to let me know if you want only 8 cards for your original quote of $20.00.
Here's a close up of the sentiment on the Tangerine Tango card.  Too cute!  Perfect for all ages.  This set is from the new spring catalog.  If you order $50.00 of SU stuff, you can get the Petite Curly Label for FREE!  Let me know if you want to put together an order; if we combine orders, we can get more FREE stuff.  I am willing to split up the free stuff for MORE FREE STUFF!

Looking forward to creating with you soon!
