A Pick-Your-Own Challenge

Oh.... two weeks in a row I am completing a challenge for the fine folks on The Friday Mashup.  This week is their 100th challenge!  Woo-hoo!  I've had a great time playing each week.  You are my go-to challenge blog. Thanks for your inspiration!  This week their challenge was to pick any of the past 99 challenges!  That was a tough one!

I picked challenge #21, Let's Get Sketchy!  I loved the sketch and I really wanted to use some of my free SAB stuff so my new ribbon and button bundle dictated the colors used for this card.  The second part of the mashup was to emboss.  I've got two patterns on this one...

I used the sentiment from Patterned Occasions.  Can you tell their is Crystal Effects on the latte cup?  There is...

Thanks for looking!

(Did I do what I needed to do to be entered into the drawing for a SU GC?  If not could you let me know? )

Banner for You!

So I was tooling around getting ideas and seeing what was challenges were out there.

The Paper Players this week is featuring a color challenge: Regal Rose, Pool Party, Lucky Limeade, and Early Espresso.

I've seen a tons of cards with these banners, and I do love them.

Thanks for looking...

Hi, Friday! I've missed you!

I created this card for this week's Friday Mashup.  I totally miss you ladies!  I haven't been getting many challenges completed lately.  No really sure why, but I just haven't been feeling the challenge vibe.

I also created it for the last card in my next class, my starring Sale-A-Bration class.  The other 5 cards in the class feature paper, tools, and products from the SAB catalog, and this one features the Patterned Occasions set.

I created two different cards following the same basic sketch.

This one is for the class... a thank you card.

This card is for my nephew's first birthday!  I used just the elephant from the set and added a ball on the trunk of the elephant with a 1 and the sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes.

I have just made a bunch of baby stuff, so I wasn't feeling the pull to do that part of the challenge, so I just stuck with the color part of the challenge: So Saffron, Pool Party, Real Red, and a neutral. I picked gray.

I love how this tuned out!

Thanks for looking!

Mom...This One's for You!

It's a card... it's a gift (of cards)... all in a matching little pocket folder!  It's the first card class in April!

This is the sweet Mother's Day card for mom....

And to go with it, you'll get 4 all-occasions cards for her to use....

And you' create this little portfolio to tuck the four cards and envelopes into...
It's so sweet.... Mom will love it!  In fact, any woman would love it.  Give it to mom or change the sentiment on the card and give it to a friend.  It is sure to please that special someone.

I'll be offering the class on Friday, April 5th at 4 or Saturday, April 6th at 10:00.

The cost is $20.00.  Please RSVP by April 3rd to allow me enough time to prep the materials!

Be-love the Ides of March!

This is the set we'll make on March 15th.  There are 5 cards pictured, but there will be 6 cards for this class.  The last will be a surprise.

The theme here is Sale-A-Brations!  All the cards that we are making use SAB products... and ... for once there is still time to order SU products and get free stuff!!!!  Have I mentioned before that I love FREE stuff!
Don't you just love these cards?  Both the above cards use the honey comb background... my most favorite new product.  Lots of fun punches, too.

Here the simple daisy across the front.  I don't know if you can see the little sparkly centers?

The banners on right card are from a new framelit set.  So, so fun.
Finally, we're getting bright with this one... inspired by a color challenge, but I just love how it turned out.

I will use the another SAB set to create the final card.  You guys trust me, right?

Six cards for $15.00.

Friday, March 15 at 4:00 or Saturday, March 16 at 10:00.
