The 411 on Friday's Mashup

Since I really love to mash-it-up with the folks over on The Friday Mashup, I had to do another card.  In addition to mashing it up, using Soft Suede, So Saffron, Midnight Muse, and Tempting Turquoise and creating a thank you card, I've also decided to use the sketch challenge that is over on Stamping 411 this week.

Awhile ago, I saw where someone (sorry... don't remember who) stamped the peacock on velum and then colored the peacock in.  Then, they flipped the velum over, and it kind of looks like stained glass!
I used Soft Suede on Whisper white to stamp my peacock.  Then I colored it in with my markers.  I put that on a layer of turquoise, put that on a layer of midnight.  I embossed the top half of a saffron layer with the fan embossing folder, and before I attached that to the suede base, I added a non-SU ribbon that has circles that are very close in color to the midnight and turquoise.

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from Petite Pairs in midnight on white, punched it out with a 1" circle punch, and I placed that on top of the small scallop circle.

Thanks for looking!

Ooooooo, your card is stunning. Fit for royalty! I just love the color combination, and it is so much fun to see the way you colored your peacock. Great job :)
