This time, we are give the color challenge of Navy, Sand, and Concord. Since my go to concord would be Stampin' Up's Concord Crush, I went to that color folder (I am a little OCD...) and found mere scraps left of my stash. Okay... that's cool... it's meant to be used, not hoarded...
These colors stumped me for a bit, I have to admit. They are not what I like to call, "traditional" Christmas colors.
So I searched for something that didn't scream for those "traditional" colors... stars, baby!
I have been wanting to play more with my star dies and my Many Merry Stars Stamp Set (double alliteration... nice, Stampin' Up).
Here is a product of their union. I tried to take a side shot to show you both the paper piercing in the big Night of Navy star and the top Sahara Sand star, and the fact that each layer is popped up giving such a cool 3D effect that
I added the sentiment from the set with the same name, added one piece of bling right in the center, and called it a day.
Why don't you head over to 'Tis the Season and play along with us... show us what you've got!
