This card answers two challenges: Dynamic Duos color challenge and The Friday Mashup.
Dynamic Duos offers their final challenge to us this week: So Saffron, Pool Party, and Smoky Slate.
The Friday Mashup asks us to create a polka dotted project, or create a fun fold card, or mash-it-up and do both. I created this card for a friend who just had a baby boy.
Do you see the two-toned elephant? His ear is yello and is folded back to give the 3-D effect. I love it! So, so cute!
When you open it, you get a message inside...
I love it!

A Fond Farewell, Dynamic Duos!
Here's one of my last entries for the Dynamic Duo (who are biding us a fond farewell... how much will they be missed? )
I used this brand new embossing folder of bottle tops, which I sponged So Saffron, Pool Party, and Smoky Slate. I also have a saffron ribbon and used just part of a sentiment stamp, leaving me with "Good Thoughts," which I thought appropriate given the colorful soda-pop tops.

'Tis the Season, Challenge #15
Here's my take on our challenge this week over on 'Tis the Season!
We were asked to combine the colors Pool Party, Baked Brown Sugar, and Whisper White with an optional trimming of ribbon.
I love how this turned out!
Aren't you a little curious about what you could create? Why don't you head on over to the 'Tis the Season and play with us?

'Tis the Season and Petite Pairs
Here's another CAS card for this week's challenge on 'Tis the Season Christmas Card Challenge blog!
My time has been running really low recently and I have been so busy that I haven't had much time to think too far ahead about the challenges. This time we had a photo challenge. My main image reminds me of the window frame, including the silver glimmer paper, which reminded me of the ornaments. The colors I chose were pulled right from the photo. I put the ribbon on the green square because of the ribbon on the pine bough. The sentiment is from Petite Pairs and is stamped in Real Red.
Thanks for looking and consider playing along with us on the 'Tis the Season challenge blog!

The Friday Mashup and Peaceful Petals
Here's the card that I made this week for The Friday Mashup challenge. They have given us the challenge of creating a card/project using the Scattered Embossing Technique or create a card/project with spring colors or a theme or mash-it-up and do both.
I am so thankful for TFM peeps (Tara?) for giving us a link to a video to show us all about scattered embossing. I love it. So, so fun! This new SAB embossing folder is perfect for this technique. I created a card for another challenge using this technique, too. I'm sure you'll be seeing a lot more of this in my future.
I do love the fresh clean look of this white on white on white.

Dynamic Duos Color Challenge and Cupcakes
Here's my take on the Dynamic Duos challenge this week. They have challenged us to use Melon Mango and Tempting Turquoise. I also am using a new technique that I learned this weekend: the scattered embossing technique. So, so fun!
I thought of this design when I was looking at some washi tape that I wanted to use that also has a zig-zag pattern. However, the tape colors wouldn't really work with this color challenge. I made the card anyway and I think it's pretty cute!
See the sparkle on the little dots on the cupcake?
