Here's the super cute card I came up with for this sketch challenge on 'Tis the Season.for what would have been our next challenge.
I used the bow from the new Bear Hugs stamp set, in Cherry Cobbler, of course.
I seriously love how this card came together!
Inside, I have a simple "Merry Christmas."
This sketch challenge is so fun and easy. You should play along!!! Check out what the other members of the design team came up with, get creative, and then post your stuff on 'Tis the Season so we can all ohhh and ahhh over it. It's the big six-oh! You've got to play! Even thought our time at 'Tis the Season has ended, you can still play with the sketch.
I really love this color challenge. The challenge colors are dark pine (I used Handsome Hunter), medium green (I used Garden Green), white, and gray/silver (I used Smoky Slate and a little bling of silver glitter paper).
I also added an even lighter green brad to the sentiment panel.
Just call me CAS... I'm good with it! It's my fav...
So, what are you waiting for? Get over to 'Tis the Season, check out the talented design crew, and then get busy and make your own. When you finish, make sure you post it so we can all admire your work. I can't wait to see what you come up with!
Here's what I came up with for this sketch. I love it!
It's a great way to use up some fun scraps (I just can't throw them away!)
I added a layer of Gumball Green under the sentiment, stamped in Cherry Cobbler, added an espresso ribbon and three espresso colored pearls, and this card was done. This one would be an easy one to reproduce a few times, if you know what I mean!
Here's the sketch so play along! Post your creation at 'Tis the Season and show us what you came up with. (And check out the other design team blogs!)
Here's my take on the colors given to us on the 'Tis the Season Color Challenge this week, the first challenge of 2016.
I looked at the colors and went with a Very Vanilla base and a panel of Tip Top Taupe and Pink Pirouette. (The taupe is a little bit darker than the color showing in the challenge.... shhhhhh.... don't tell!) It's hard to tell from the picture, but the taupe layer is embossed with the gently falling embossing folder.
Next there are three trees in vanilla and Regal Rose. Unusual colors for trees, I know, but I really wanted to use this new set of trees and the dies that I bought myself for Christmas!
So now that you know what I came up with, you should head over to 'Tis the Season and see what the rest of the team came up with, and then play along
